Reading Quran with Tajweed is obligatory upon every Muslim. Indeed, it has happened many a time that intelligent and good non-Muslim people began reading the Quran with a negative agenda and ended up embracing Islam when they discovered this modern Deen.

Either way, one must read the Quran with Tajweed. The word Tajweed means the correct pronunciation of Quranic Arabic. The Quran is full of knowledge from cover to cover which is beneficial, individually and collectively, to every human being on earth. Being the Speech of Allaah, as we have stated earlier, it is essential that one reads the Quran with the correct Tajweed so that there is no confusion of the meaning and implication of the words.
